As every year, the Freiburg Society for Legal History offers a practical lecture as part of the general lecture "European and German Legal History" in order to illustrate to the students the synergies between legal history and legal practice.
We look forward to welcoming Dr. Bettina Bubach, judge in the service of the Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate, to Freiburg.
Dr. Bubach will speak on 11 January 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the Lecture Hall 2006 of the Kollegiengebäude II about the topic

"Employee Concept: From the Beginnings to Work 4.0".
The lecture will deal in particular with the new § 611a BGB, which since 2017 typologically normalizes the work contract in the civil law book.
