Get a Buddy

The Buddy-Programme would like to help you get accustomed to your new life in Freiburg. In a way, it should help you to ‘arrive’ more quickly in Freiburg. Freiburg law students will give a hand with your first few steps of academic and everyday life in Freiburg.

What does the Buddy-Programme want to do?

The Buddy-Programme is intended to help at the start: a buddy is a German student who helps out a foreign student during his/her first six to eight weeks in Freiburg. This ranges from study to life and culture, everything from A to Z. If you are interested in the Buddy-Programme and you register for it here, we will pass on your details to a nice ‘Freiburger’ law student, who will help you to settle in to your new life in Freiburg in no time at all.

Important: this programme is aimed especially at law students and shouldn’t be confused with the International Club’s Buddy Programme!

How can you get a buddy?

We will be happy to receive your Application. Just send the Application form until latest April 30th to buddyprogramm@jura.uni-freiburg.de .We will  find you a welcoming and friendly student who may even pick you up from the train station at the day of your arrival.
